South East Roots, Production Schedules UK Wide

Quiet, professional cover on set

We routinely support productions filming across Sussex, Surrey, London, and the UK, matching medical tiering to your risk assessment, unit moves, night shoots, and public facing elements.

Medical cover should integrate quietly with ADs, unit managers, and H&S: clear lines of communication, minimal disruption to rolling cameras, and professional behaviour around cast, crew, and visitors.

Assurance for studios & insurers

  • Comprehensively insured, with clear clinical governance.
  • Resource models from single responders through to multi asset deployments for higher risk sequences.
  • Professional discretion around story, cast health, and production logistics. Discuss confidentiality requirements at booking.

What We Deliver on Production

Flexible cover levels, frontline ambulances, on set response, medical rooms, and clinician led teams aligned to your production risk assessment, insurer expectations, and studio safety protocols.

Unit & Location Medics

Schedules that follow prep, principal photography, splinter units, and wrap, including out of hours and night shoots where agreed.

Ambulances & 4×4 Response

Equipped ambulances and off road capable vehicles for unit bases, backlots, and access limited locations.

On Set Response

Rapid assessment, treatment, packaging, and escalation with CAD support and clear NHS handover when required.

Medical Room & Treatment Centre

Deployable treatment spaces for studios, standing sets, and remote locations, sized to cast/crew footprint and activity.

Where We Typically Embed

Production medicine is never a single template. The patterns below reflect common deployments; your call sheet and risk assessment drive the final model.

Studios & Standing Sets

Medical rooms, static ambulance cover, and roaming medics aligned to stage turnover, audience holding, and construction activity.

Location & Unit Base Shoots

Rapid response and extraction support where parking, terrain, or public interface complicates access for standard ambulances.

Stunts, SFX & Higher Energy Sequences

Enhanced standby and equipment conversations tied to your stunt coordinator and H&S sign off, not generic “extras”, but scoped clinical capability.

Commercials & Short Form

Tight turnaround days with discrete cover sized to crew count, specialist talent, and any water, height, or vehicle work on the shot list.

Public Facing or Crowd Scenes

Where your shoot interfaces with the public, we can align with wider event medical thinking, often alongside our festival and stadium experience.

Rigging, Derig & Tech Recces

Cover for crew heavy periods before cameras roll or after wrap, useful when lifts, drones, or heavy plant are on site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from production offices and H&S leads. Add specifics in your enquiry and we will respond in detail.

Yes, subject to agreement. We scope cover against your call sheets and movement orders, whether that is a single location block, travelling days, or split units. Night shoots and overtime should be flagged early so crew welfare and handovers are planned.

We use your RA, stunt notifications, water work, SFX briefs, and crowd plans to propose an appropriate tier of cover. If elements change (e.g. a stunt upgrade), tell us as soon as possible so resourcing stays proportionate and defensible.

A medic or paramedic on unit provides immediate assessment and treatment within their scope, integrated with the floor. A standby ambulance adds a licensed patient transport capability and equipment suite for time critical moves to hospital. Many productions use both in combination.

We can enhance standby and equipment for higher risk sequences when briefed in advance by your stunt department and H&S team. Final clinical decisions always rest with the attending practitioners; our job is to bring the right capability and communications to set.

Discuss your confidentiality and data expectations at booking. Our crews are accustomed to professional behaviour on set; additional agreements (e.g. production specific NDA layers) should be raised with our office so they can be routed appropriately.
